Time to Meet Your Coaches

Meet our coaches, a brief description of their backgrounds and why they coach.

Laura Toulman

Laura has been involved in gymnastics for over 19 years. She started as a parent observing classes, then started helping as a volunteer coach. She took some coaching courses and was soon coaching classes of her own.  Laura was also very involved as a volunteer on the executive board (of her former club) for over 10 years.

Laura has been coaching for 11 years now with her level 2 Artistic Gymnastic Certification. She has her High Five Sports Certification, and is  First Aid - CPR/AED certified.  Laura believes very strongly in good sportsmanship and fair play and can often be heard cheering for every little achievement that a gymnast makes.  Our Club is very honored to have Laura as our Head Coach.

Olivia Dubeski

Olivia is a Ukranian Dancer and a retired competitive gymnast. She has background in many forms of dance including, Ballet, Lyrical and Ukranian. She brings this and other technical knowledge that is extremely beneficial to our gymnasts.

Olivia has more than 13 years of coaching experience, is level 1 NCCP certified, and is currently attending the University of Winnipeg to get her Bachelor of Arts in Conflict Resolution.  TGC is very lucky to have this talented gal as part of our team.

Samantha Toulman

Samantha literally grew up in the gym. Starting as a recreational gymnast and then moving to the Regional Stream Competitive program, she has been involved in gymnastics for more than 19 years.

Samantha is always striving to improve her own gymnastic skills as well as passing on her love of the sport to the children she coaches.

Samantha is Level 2 Artistic Gymnastics Certified and has been coaching for more than 11 years.  Samantha also has First Aid- CPR/AED certification and is High Five Sports Certified.  TGC loves Sam for her fun enthusiastic teaching style and our kids love her.

Patty Fisher

Patty is a great asset to TGC.  Patty has 3 children involved in Gymnastics and is a great gymnast herself.  Her positive, can-do attitude brings a lot of enthusiasm to other gymnasts.  Patty took her Level 1 course when her first daughter started nine years ago.  We are so glad Patty agreed to join our TGC family!

Lindsay Davidson
Dayna Toth
Shayne Osnach

Lindsay was a huge part in the start up of TGC.  Her love of the sport and her ability to connect with the children is indispensable.  Lindsay went for her Level 1 certification which allowed her to be more involved with the club.  Lindsay is an interpreter for sign language which is a great asset to multiple children in our club.   Lindsay's positive attitude and willingness to help is appreciated more than she knows.  Thank you Lindsay for all of your dedication to TGC and our children.  We are so happy you are a part of our TGC family.

Shayne is a great asset to TGC.  Shayne has 2 children involved in Competitive Gymnastics and is a great role model to our children.  Shayne was a former Soccer Coach and got involved with our club when his children joined 7 years ago.  His positive, will-do attitude brings a lot of enthusiasm to other gymnasts.  Shayne took his Level 1 course in August 2017.  Shayne is also a huge asset in running our club with many hours of volunteering with set-up and take down.  TGC can't thank Shayne enough for being part of our family.

Dayna, along with husband Trevor and her family and friends decided to start TGC when they saw the need for more activities for children in their home town.  After many hours of conversation and searching for a venue, coaches and purchasing equipment we are now in our seventh year at TGC.  Dayna has her Level 1 and tries to help out in the gym as much as possible when not doing paperwork and organizing all of the things that go along with running the club.  Dayna has 3 girls in the Competitive Division which keeps her very busy along with all of the other activities they like to do.  Dayna can't thank all of the coaches and volunteers enough for helping run our club and making it such a success.
